Tooling Fabrication is the process that involves the use of design and development of different tools, molds, plugs, and die-cuts to customize plastic packaging trays.
The Extrusion of thermoplastics is a process in which the material is melted by external heat /frictional heat and conveyed forward by a screw to the opening of the die, which gives the shape of the required product. Extrusion process is a continuous process by which many products like Films, Raffia tapes, Pipes, Sheets, Mono filaments, Fibre and Filaments can be manufactured.
What is Extrusion?
Thermoforming is the process of heating a thermoplastic sheet to its softening point. The sheet stretches across a single-sided mold. Then, it cools into the desired shape. The most common methods to get the sheet to conform to its final shape are vacuum-forming, pressure-forming, and mechanical forming. The procedure involves heating thermoformed plastic while pressed against a mold thru vacuum pressure. The formed part enters an offline process or the cutting or trimming of the excess plastic.
